PSYCHOPHANT (Metal/ProgressiveMetal/Djent/NuMetal) aus Düsseldorf

Psychophant aus Düsseldorf (D) haben sich Anfang 2015 zusammengefunden. Das Quartett spielte bereits in verschiedenen Bands so z.B. Bassistin Rosalie die bei „Progress Utopia“ nebst Daniel Pampuch (Vitja) Bass spielte.

Mille der der seit seinem 11. Lebensjahr  Gitarre spielt und in Bands wie "Instinktflow" "A fight called hope" und "Samsara Circle" spielte und aktuell auch Gitarrist der Punkrock Band „Korsakow“ ist.

Dennis bekannt aus Bands wie „Trusting Nolan“ und „The Aura“ wobei er neben Gesang auch am Bass tätig war und Tim, der jahrelang bei „But we try it“ hinter dem Drumkit saß.

 Musikalisch bedienen sich die vier Bandmitglieder unter anderem mit Einflüssen von Bands wie Sevendust, Deftones, Twelve foot Ninja, Heard of a Coward, Hacktivist, After the Burial, Tool, Twelve Tribes, Misery Signals um nur ein paar zu nennen. Psychophant steht für groovigen „Djent“ Metal die durch tiefere Stimmungen der Saiteninstrumente und wiederkehrende Synthie-Einlagen eine besondere Atmosphäre schaffen.

 

Die erste EP „Black Eyes EP“ wurde am 16.06.2017 veröffentlicht. Aktuell abreitet das Quartett an ihrem ersten Longplayer. Man darf gespannt sein. Live unbedingt auschecken!

Psychophants from Dusseldorf (D) met in early 2015. The quartet has already played in different bands such as Rosalie playing the bassguitar for "Progress Utopia" alongside with Daniel Pampuch (Vitja).

Mille plays guitar since he was 11 years old and played in bands like "Instinktflow" "A fight called hope" and "Samsara Circle" and currently also guitarist of the punkrock band "Korsakow".

Dennis is known from bands like "Trusting Nolan" and "The Aura" where he also worked on the bass next to vocals and Tim, who sat behind the drums for years with "But we try it".  

Musically, the four band members use influences from bands like Sevendust, Deftones, Twelve foot Ninja, Heard of a Coward, Hacktivist, After the Burial, Tool, Twelve Tribes, Misery Signals to Name a few. Psychophant stands for groovy "Djent" metal that creates a special atmosphere through deeper moods of the string instruments and recurring synthie pads. The first EP "Black Eyes EP" was released on 16.06.2017. The quartet is currently playing on their first longplayer.
